Toy License Plate Generator - Washington State

I wrote this OpenSCAD code to create toy license/name plates for my son and his friends to put on their bikes. It is a fairly accurate reproduction of the current WA plate layout, with a 3D rendering of Mt. Rainier as background.

You need the freeware parametric CAD program OpenSCAD, which you can get here: http://www.openscad.org/ I've included an example STL, but unless your name is Elvis, you will probably want to generate your own. You need my .scad code, and (if you want to use my Mt. Rainier background) you need the mount_rainier_4mm.stl model.

Just download the files and follow the instructions. I've also included some rough directions for generating your own background if you want another state or picture, but that will require a bit of tinkering. Have fun. I'd love to see remixes or permutations others come up with.
