Post-Printing

Assembling the subwheels!

            <div><p>Once you have created all the required pieces (2 times the main frame for the wheel and however many subwheels you have specified) you should then continue assembling the omniwheel.</p><p>This is a quite straightforward process:<br>Simply place the subwheels in the correct positions (which you can see in the OpenSCAD Preview when having "generate" set to 1) and push whatever you chose to use as axis through the connectors.<br>I have chosen 1.75mm filament as axis. It serves this very well, and is recommended for use as it is small, cheap, and allows smooth rotation.<br>If the connectors on the omniwheel break on the weak outside piece (which probably will be rather small), this is no need for concern!<br>Simply glue the filament to the connector and everything should stay in place.</p><p>As you do this it is also recommended to use a bit of lubricant to allow smooth wheel movement, however this is optional.</p></div>                <p class="detail-title"><strong>Assembling the main wheel! </strong></p>            <div><p>Once all subwheels are in place, simply take the two main pieces and push them together in a way that the teeth fit together.<br>With a bit of force the pieces should slide together and connect firmly. Additionally a bit of glue can be used to fix the pieces together.</p></div>
