Summary

A quick necklace design based on the Catwoman character from DC Comics.

Measures 40mm on the X axis and 3.46mm on the Z axis.

Printed mine at .2mm layer height with an infill of 30% at 40mm/s utilizing ABS. Gave it a quick wet sand with 600 grit and then two coats of high gloss lacquer.

How I Designed This

First did the design up in Photoshop. Then I exported it to Illustrator and created a SVG image. I imported the SVG into Blender and converted it into a mesh object. Then I selected the top vertices and extruded on the Z axis. Once that was done I saved as an STL and opened it in Cura where I set the dimensions. Next re-saved that model and then uploaded it to cloud.netfabb.com to make sure it was fixed properly. Lastly I opened the new saved file back in Cura and printed the piece.
