Charge box with silk inlay

I bought some nifty wireless charging modules, and I wanted to make a nice looking 'dock' to house the transmitter.
The silk is laid over the piece, and the outer edge of the octagon is forced down around it. With my laser I got away without having to make allowances for kerf (laser cutting width), but that might vary for other machines.
Once the inlay is in place, another octagon is glued on the back to hold everything together.
It's a nice technique, and I think I'll use it in future.
