Shenzhou 8 spacecraft

This model is well (but not fully) parametrized, it is possible to customize various dimensions and to import various modules (e.g. the solar array at customizable folding angle).

No surface details have been added (yet), the ends are bare. Propulsion at the Service Module and docking/airlock at the Orbital Module would be desirable. If you would add to this model (with OpenSCAD) please let me know!

When importing this model, the reference point (origin) is located at the end of the Service Module, for the purpose of docking to another craft or space station.

For the purpose of 3D printing, re-orient this model to the requirement of the printer (see, e.g. line 15).

For a practical 3D printed model, it is advised to modify the Solar array connector solarcon(lc,hc) or even to eliminate it.
