Post-Printing

After printing you WILL NEED to lightly sand the surfaces that rub in order to get a smooth release and return. Get yourself 4 1/4" x 1/16" disc Neodymium Rare Earth Magnets per knife.
Be sure that your magnets are placed with the right poles facing each other or the return will not work.
I bought my magnets on Amazon but they look like they are out.

You will also need 6 2-56 pan head 3/4" machine screws and nuts.

The groove cut into the hilt is perfect for embedding a 1.75mm filament.
Form it first, then superglue it and clamp it down to dry.

BTW My print software claimed there was an issue with the right grip, My Max .stl check said it was fine. I had no problems printing it. Hopefully neither will you.

There will be A LOT of finishing (sanding/filing) required if you choose the thorn blade. I left the cut extra tight to allow for sanding to eliminate holes created by material width and rounded edges.
