The "_v2" is a two part print to enclose the charging module.

Needs 2 x ~33mm / ~1.36 mm pogo pins and TP4056 breakout to complete.

NOTE: the TP4056 module linked above is set for 1A charging, Zik battery is max 800mA so it is advisable to change the (1k2) charging resistor to 1k5 to set lower currrent.

Post-Printing

You will likely need to ream the holes for the contacts a bit, I found twisting and forcing a 1.5mm hex wrench thru gave snugg fit for the bogos.

Push the bogos in and use a drop of superglue to hold them in place if needed.
Solder wires to the bogos, avoid excess heat as the plastic will melt easily.
trim wires and solder other ends to the charging cicuit board
use a piece of double sided tape to secure the charger, I added a round of kapton as the double sided tape didn't hold it too well.

How I Designed This

Introduction

            <div><p>First there was a need... the Ziks are great headphones but the battery life is a bit short, so a second battery comes handy. Parrot does not make a charger for a spare battery thus I decided to make one.</p><p>The charger was partly designed on top of what I had at hand, the pogo pins. Pogo pins make really nice contacts but they need some nice housing to work well and that is what 3D printing really excels for, it is real easy to model a case around the battery and then add small holes for the pogos to go in.</p><p>I also ordered up a few tp4056 chargers from eBay.</p><p>Initially I started with just a 40x60x10mm block with a 8mm pocket for the battery and 1.5mm holes for the pogos (3). On the next version I dropped the middle pin, made the housing longer so there is no need to glue pins in as they seat agains outer rim. This also made suitable area for the charger PCB so I made a cutout for that. This basically finished the version 1.</p><p>For version 2 I wanted to make it closed so I did some small tweaks so I can screw a cover for the charging PCB..</p><p>I have made a few of these and given them out for friends who happen to have the Ziks themselves. </p></div>
