Scouts Woggle for JOTA - amateur radio annual event
This is a JOTA woggle as you might find around the neck of a cub or scout, and even some beavers or girl guides.
This was a simple design made by me ( Denis - M0USV ) for the GB2COS Cestrian Scouts event in Cheshire UK. See http://www.gb2cos.org.uk
JOTA stands for Jamboree On The Air and is an annual event where scouts all over the world are encourages to operate communication stations including amateur / ham radio stations to work towards their communications badges and widen their skills. Inclusion of new technologies like 3D printing makes for a excellent demonstration while producing something that they can find useful for their scouting activities.
With some care you can paint in the letters with a sharpened matchstick and some nail varnish.
I would recommend leaving the inner as rough as possible to provide a little friction and grip on the handkerchief.
