A Pitot Tube application with Airspeed

Be used to evaluate the velocity of the air within suction tubes, attention the value read in the display is the output voltage detected by the transducer, it is not the measure of air speed, but is proportional to air speed, for more details see the appropriate chart in the data sheet of MPX7002DP (http://www.freescale.com/files/sensors/doc/data_sheet/MPXV7025.pdf).

The power is supplied by a 9V battery to the voltmeter and a 78L05 to reduce the voltage to 5V required by MPX7002DP.

The switch below the display is the main switch in series to the battery.
