2 Axis Gimbal

This 2 axis Gimbal is a PhotoVoltaic Cell Characterization Station with smart electronics and precise brushless motors. Its job is to hold Samples of solar panel new materials and rotate them in all angles of incidence with a Light that mimics Sun light. Under the Clamp there is an IMU that knows the orientation of the Sample and this IMU is the live feedback loop that makes the Gimbal alive and smart. Nomatter how your parts come out of the 3D printer, it doesn't matter because the IMU finds and holds the orientation. You can tell it to perform the whole Cell Characterisation process or you can program it to follow the Sun :)
in this model, tolerances are optimized for 0.5mm nozzle and to the hardware of our 3D printer, you might need to tweak the design to get the tolerances right for you ;)
For 3D printing these parts, the STLs are already oriented in the optimal way.
