BI Edition Extruder V1.0 (Bowden Type)

At Boots Industries we redesigned our previous extruder for strength and the specific extrusion of 1.75 mm filament.

Our redesign has made this version much more reliable to the point where failures are nonexistent.

Improvements Include:

• Sturdier extruder construction with cross braces.
• Realignment of the filament guide with the gear for optimal grip.
• Extension of the filament guide tunnel to contour the gear.
• Realignment of the tensionner bearing with the center of the gear.
• Addition of a fan to prevent heat transfer between the stepper and filament during prolonged operation.
• Addition of compression springs to prevent extruder failure when filament diameters varies.
