Summary

This is an adjustable rebate (rabbet) plane which can use a standard chisel as the cutting iron.

(These types of planes are used for cutting a slot along the edge of a board.)

Conclusion

            <div><p>I enjoyed the challenge of designing and making this, but after experiencing how long it took to print and how much plastic was used, I think that following Seller's lead and making one out of wood, would be a far better approachr.</p></div>                <p class="detail-title"><strong>TODO</strong></p>            <div><p>There are still some problems with this design, mostly the width of the chisel+wedge gap is far too small to fit. :_(</p></div>
