Summary

While attending a birth class, I thought a model of the female pelvis would help better explain and demonstrate what to expect when giving birth. I caught myself before downloading and printing this male pelvis; that would have been dumb.
Can't tell the difference? Neither could I. Fortunately Youtube allows us access to the experts in seconds.

Be sure to rotate the parts flat against the bed. I am scaling mine by a factor of 20. I find pillar support to work well.<br>Note that I have not yet printed this, but it should work well. Once my print is complete I will change the WorkInProgress status.</p></div>

            <div><p>I am no artist, but I really wanted a female pelvis.<br>I combed yeggie and .gov medical sites with no luck.<br>Finally, I found <a rel="nofollow" href="http://www.cadnav.com/3d-models/model-23873.html">http://www.cadnav.com/3d-models/model-23873.html</a>. This file required some cleanup work in meshmixer, and cutting in netfabb, but it should come out nicely.<br>If anyone knows of a higher resolution public domain source, I would love to use that instead.</p></div>
