Summary

This is a version of bwevans "Mosaic Feet & Spool Holder", adapted to use M8 threaded rods and 608ZZ ball bearings.

The attached stl and scad files feature a slightly taller foot with a 8mm hole instead of 6mm.

Instructions

Things you will need to complete the build:

4x 608 ZZ ball bearing
20x M8 washer
16x M8 nut
2x 180mm M8 threaded rod
2x 140mm M8 threaded rod
4x printed mosaic_feet.stl

I ordered the ball bearings from ebay and got the M8 nuts, washers and a 1 meter long threaded rod from a local hardware store.

Choose a length for the threaded rods to match your spool sizes.
I cut mine to 180mm long and 140mm wide.

Assembly:

Assemble two sides using the top holes in the feet. The order for a side part is: nut, washer, foot, washer, nut, [space], nut, washer, foot, washer, nut.

Then connect the two sides with a threaded rod thru the bottom holes. The order of parts are: nut, washer, foot, washer, ball bearing, washer, nut, [space], nut, washer, ball bearing, washer, foot, washer, nut.
