How I Designed This

Using Autocad, I designed the outline of the buckle, saved the drawing as a DXF. Then I used OpenSCAD to import it using linear extrude.

            <div><p>Also, you'll see the 25.4 conversion number to change the DXF file, which is in inches to millimeters for the printer.  It's a fun project and those who wish to review the OpenSCAD code will learn a little about making a 2D object into 3D.</p></div>
