SOIC16 300mil DIY programming socket
Simply print this programming socket, insert some wires and you can program SOIC16 300mil wide ICs without soldering them or buying ridicoulously expensive sockets.
The bottom part has side holes in which you push in 0.75mm diameter wires (diameter with insulation), with about 8mm stripped and soldered on the end. By pushing them slightly in, the insulation jamms in the hole and holds the wire, make sure the stripped wire comes slightly in the center open space.
This is the first prototype, more a proof-of concept. In combination with a PCB and a set of holders an universal programming kit can be created. Working on it :)
The cover is for now held in place with M3 screws, but can be improved to a manual clip with a spring.
