Summary

Braille is a blind people writing method and this project use 3Dprinting and Brille "6points" alphabet to learn (Italian) geography.

How I Designed This

Software

            <div><p>For this project i used:</p><ul><li>Autocad</li><li>Tinkercad</li><li>Cura</li><li>Gimp</li></ul></div>                <p class="detail-title"><strong>Steps</strong></p>            <div><p>I sought a picture of Political Italian Map and I downloaded it. </p></div>                <p class="detail-image"><img src="https://thingiverse-production-new.s3.amazonaws.com/assets/b1/9e/ab/f1/2f/EducationalProject_foto6.jpg"></p>                <div><p>I elaborated it with Gimp and imported in autocad with "Import Raster" tool.<br>After I designed the bordes of each regions with "Spline" tool.</p></div>                <p class="detail-image"><img src="https://thingiverse-production-new.s3.amazonaws.com/assets/79/23/cd/a6/b5/EducationalProject_foto7.jpg"></p>                <div><p>At the same time I chose "6 Points" Braille Code after a research of writing codes for blind people. Objective

            <div><p>the purpose of this project is to help blind kids to learn the Italian geography by touching the shapes of 3Dprinted regions.</p></div>                <p class="detail-title"><strong>Audience</strong></p>            <div><p>Every body could play with puzzle game of italian regions but it was created for blind kids from 4+</p></div>                <p class="detail-title"><strong>Preparation</strong></p>            <div><p>-Teachers take 2 or more team of kids and explain that there are shapes of italian regions with tags in Braille.<br>-teachers explain that it's a puzzle and could start asking what are the regions that confine with a determinates ones.</p></div>                <p class="detail-title"><strong>Steps</strong></p>            <div><p>-Pupils try to compose puzzle touching, asking and comparing with others kids and teachers.<br>-taechers say stop when time finish or when puzzle is completed.<br>-Teachers declere winners</p></div>                <p class="detail-title"><strong>Results</strong></p>            <div><p>Kids enjoyed!!! because they are speaking with us and with teachers after an manual experience.</p><p>Kids are learned!!! Italian geograpy, now he can says where are located the differents regions and are touched geograpy shape of Italy.</p><p>Teachers can invite higer pupils to create an other geograpy puzzle with blind students helps.</p></div>
