Fixing your old car: Rear mirror support for Peugeot 205

If you have a Peugeot 205, this thing is for you! If not, then this may convince you that 3D printing can also improve your safety :-)

I own an old car, and many plastic parts are failing all over the place. Recently, the support of my rear-mirror broke. I initially glued it but it kept falling while I was driving ... not so nice. The faulty piece is a plastic part which connects a metallic support glued on the windshield to the metallic tube of the rear mirror.

I took my favorite modeler (IceSL), a digital Caliper, printed ... and voila, my car feels safer.
