Battery cap for Canon NB-10L (NB-7L) with SD-card holder for SX40, SX50, G1X, G15 (SX30, G10, G11, G12) cameras
I always like to take a spare battery and a spare SD-card along with my Canon PowerShot SX40. So I constructed this "thing" to be a battery cap that protects the poles of the spare battery in my pocket and serves as well as a card holder for one spare SD-card and one microSD-card (I often use microSDs with an SD converter card). The SD-card "snaps" into its cutout, whereas the microSD-card is kept in as drawer-like cavity. The cap has a firm grip around the battery, so that the battery doesn't fall out by itself.
The NB-10L battery is used on Canon PowerShot SX40, SX50, G1X and G15 cameras.
Canon also has a NB-7L battery which seems to have the same length and width, but is slightly higher than the NB-10L. This NB-7L is used in the Canon PowerShot SX30, G10, G11 and G12 cameras. I have included a STL file for this battery as well - but since I only have an SX40, I was only able to build and test the NB-10L version.
