Vented and shaded box for outdoor temp and humidity sensors

a box to keep the worst of the sun and rain off of a temp/humidity sensor while still letting enough air to circulate so that you get a reasonable reading.

The air slats are half and half open so that any rain that falls onto it will make it's way mostly outside and not inside the box. This has kept my sensors happy for some time, but it's by no means weather proof.

The front of the box is press fit and I've never had any problem with it popping off here. You can pop it off by placing a small screwdriver or other tool in the wire access port on the bottom and pressing against the edge gently.
