Summary

A magnet inside the printed object. This could be used as a technique to create a lid on a box .....

Instructions

It is a little tricky. The magnet I used is 4 x 3 x 10 mm. the hole I created inside the object is 4.1 x 3.5 x 10.4 mm. While the hollow space was created and was almost finished I dropped the magnet into it. As you can see on the picture. The extruders head is of copper and aluminium and the magnet didn't cause any problem.
This print took 25 minutes on the Ultimaker. The object is 1 cm in height. The file was made in Blender
This piece is a test one to use this technique in building a box where the lid closes by to magnets into the different parts. Stil to come
