Summary

Low Profile, Wide mouth filament guide for an i2 Prusa.
Requires four small 4" cable ties to fasten it to the threaded rods.

Update: Version 2 has been added, which has more rounded corners to prevent the filament from catching in the corners. It is recommended that it be mounted underneath the 8M rods.

Instructions

Print and clean.
Insert four 4" zip ties in the built in channels.
Install on the top rods of your mendel prusa.

Notes: The 4" zip ties need to be rather small to fit properly. The ones I used have a crossection of ~1mm X ~2.5 mm. This filament guide is loosely based on Manixx's, which I had previously been using, but found to not be adequately sturdy (due to my poor print quality, of course). Other filament guides I have looked at/printed extended too far above the threaded rods and interferred with my z-belt (my model only has one z motor). This filament guide is intended to be a sturdy guide to prevent the filament from a spool mounted above the printer from interfering with the z-belt or rubbing on the threaded rods.
