Meccano Turret 100mm

100mm Turret with Meccano spaced (12.7mm/M4) mounting holes (requires seperate bearing)

Designed for belt drive with 100mm x 2mm 'O Ring'.
Drive spindle to suit AliExpress gear motor with D-shaft: was a little tight, required some filing (.1mm or so?).
Bearing = 35mm x 11mm, with 15mm centre (AliExpress again!).
Shapeways printed x2: perfect 'Snug' fit for top: but bottom required a small piece of paper or tape between part and bearing so it was stiff enough to spin the actual bearing rather than just spin the bearing around the bottom...

Slip Ring holder to suit AliExpress sourced 12-wire slip-ring (3d model of slip ring included). Picture shows construction including slip-ring installed, Meccano Range Finder on top of turret, and driving with gear motor on Meccano Motor Mount (* = Things available separately)

This thing was mostly made with Tinkercad. Slip ring and slip ring holder made with 123D
