Run Ralphie Run - A Mechanical Buffalo

University of Colorado-themed mechanical buffalo toy! Rotating the knob makes the legs move back and forth. It is 100% 3D-printed, so no other materials are required. Refer to the assembly guide PDF if you're having trouble figuring out how it all fits together.

Design details: http://www.aesdes.org/2016/04/20/run-ralphie-run-a-mechanical-buffalo-final-report-part-1/

Note: "Ralphie A" is designed as a one-way snap fit. If you want to be able to disassemble your toy, use Ralphie A - no snap.

UPDATE 26-APR-2019: See "Ralphie Toy Files - THINNER.zip" for a version that is substantially thinner and has tighter tolerances on the gear bores (previous 0.30", now 0.27"). All SW files and .STL files are included. I removed all fillets and snap features. The assembly should still function nominally with the introduction of a <0.04" thk friction-reducing spacer/washer (delrin?) between the legs (possibly necessary if printing out of metal). I will attempt to print this version in the coming weeks on my FDM printer and see if it works!

UPDATE 3-MAY-2019: I did a simple fit check with the new design, and smaller gear bores came out undersized/eccentric on my printer. I'm going to increase them back to 0.30" and try again soon.

UPDATE 2-JAN-2020: Uploaded an updated thin version; let's see if this one works better!

UPDATE 1-MAY-2020: The thin version worked!!!!!!

UPDATE 3-MAY-2020: ...But it's not super reliable yet...the saga continues :)
