Remix of Optical Illusion Pinwheel with Thicker Blades

This is a remix of Dalpec's very cool Optical Illusion Pinwheel. This remix fixed a print problem I had with Dalpek's original blade stl files. The blades got too thin near the ends and would not print (see photo). These are close to the originals but not exact. I also did two versions. On the arc versions the blades get taller (thicker?) in the middle. I didn't like the way they printed because of the steps in the slight curve so I did another version that is basically flat.

I also remixed the handle. This version is cut in half and prints flat on the bed. Not as cool because you need to print two and glue them together. It will fit without rotation on a Mini bed but I would recommend rotating it 45 degrees on the bed anyway. That keeps the ends closer to the middle of the bed where it is hotter. I printed one square and at the end near the edge of the bed the print lifted a little. It also has a revised clipless retention system. Print the washers from Dalpek's original Thing. They should just snap onto the handle to hold the wheel.

Edit 5-10-16:
I had a request for some modified blades that might spin with less wind. I added some blades with thicker blade sections (.375 & .5) and one with a flatter pitch that should give more revs for a given wind speed. Although for the cool visual effect that Dalpek's original has I prefer a slower rotation.
