MendelMax Aluminum Plate Y-carriage Bed nut holder
I have a simple aluminum plate as my Y-carriage, with 3 bolts holding the bed in place with springs. Leveling the bed is clumsy because you'd have to get a wrench underneath the carriage in order to keep the nut from spinning while you turn the bolt from above.
I designed this "Nut holder" to capture the nut on the plate so you don't have to use a wrench when leveling the bed. You just adjust it from above with an allen wrench. It also has an integrated "pocket" for the spring.
Another advantage is the hole for the bolt is tight so it holds the bolt more squarely to the plate, resulting in a more stable bed platform during printing.
Once printing, you have to mark and drill mounting holes to and bolt them to the plate.
