Summary

Battery cover for the Tandy 100. It's a tight fit because it was designed to print in PLA, and I wanted to make sure that there was a decent amount of plastic at all of the stress points so that it won't break apart under normal use. If you don't mind that, you can print a replacement battery door yourself.

Post-Printing

Nothing serious. Just be very careful triming the supports out, the rear catches are still a bit fragile and can be pried apart from the door if you've got a big enough knife.

How I Designed This

Took a bunch of measurements of an actual battery door from another unit, threw them at OpenSCAD, and got a quick mock-up. After that it was just a matter of measuring actual fit and rigidity of the part, and adding plastic until the clips held up when the part was snapped on and off of the system.
