Uniquely symmetric style. The watch band slides through the center gap.

Post-Printing

Align the left and right supports on the base using the guide pins. Trim off any excess material around the guide pins. Enlarge the mating holes with a small drill bit or hobby knife until the supports sit flush on the base.

Glue the supports onto the base with the appropriate glue. For PLA use gap-filling super glue such as Loctite Super Glue Gel Control. For ABS use ABS slurry or super glue.

The plain base can be mounted with double-sided tape. The base with a hole takes a #10 pan head screw.

How I Designed This

Originally I designed this as one piece with a thinner watch holding surface. Printing in ABS gave a very rough lower surface as the print curled and would not stick to support layers. So I split the design and thickened it to make it printable without supports. It's a balance between aesthetics and print-a-bility.
