Birdhouses

Grade 9 students were tasked with a hand drawing project to design, draw, and dimension multiple views of a birdhouse for a specific bird. Their teacher was inspired by the creativity of some of the designs and recreated "printable" versions in sketchup. The sketchup files aren't functional because they have arcs inside to reduce the need for support while still looking like a house with a hole. The sketchup files are the actual size of the birdhouse but the .stl files have been scaled down 25% or 18%.

Ashley's Birdhouse is for a Chickadee and has a birdbath that is filled via the chimney. Bryce's and Winfield's birdhouses are also designed for a Chickadee. Mario's is designed for a wood duck and had to be scaled differently.
