Summary

A friend requested a print of a modified version of the original design ( Nanna-Sin Ziggurat by PirateMaster11 http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1457174 ). In general, the design was modified a bit, scaled down and split in pieces to enable large size printing.

How I Designed This

Modifications made with Blender to the original design:

            <div><p>1) Base removed<br>2) Model scaled down. Base of the main building is now 22x22cm (scaled down to: X = 0.675, Y = 0.645, Z = 0.660). Total printed size is about 33x22x11 cm.<br>3) The walls were modified flat to remove the slight hint of middle ages.<br>4) Model chopped in 6-7 pieces (depending whether you print the front yard in 1 or 2 pieces). Largest part is 1-piece front yard (up to 22cm) and 2nd largest part is right side of the 2-piece front yard (up to 13cm).<br>5) 2mm holes punched on the matching pairs for easier assembly.</p></div>
