Summary

here is a monitor mount to give you the maximum amount of cube desk space. I'm using it on HP ZR2440w monitors

Instructions

This things only works for lightweight monitors. It is up to you to determine if you can print a part strong enough to hold your particular monitor!!!! I am not responsible if your monitor falls off the wall!!!!

all variables are stored in VESARailMount_Variables.scad

materials:

lcd monitor
cube
2x cube mounting brackets (compatible with your cube)
length of thin unistrut (as opposed to the square type)
square metal tubing that will fit inside of the unistrut
a metal plate. as wide as the vesa mount (130mm) and twice as tall as the unistrut. (i got mine from a pile of cube parts. it was used to join two sections of table together from underneath)
3x wood screws to attach metal plate (3/4" long or so)
4x longer 4mm screws to attach VESA mount

cut a short length of square tubing lengthwise so that it fits inside of the unistrut snugly. make two of these.
weld the tubing to your cube mounting brackets
cut unistrut to length for your application
give everything a good coat of paint so it looks good
slide brackets into unistrut and hang on cube wall
if they don't exist, drill 3 holes in your metal plate 60 mm apart (you can adjust the 'plate_screw_spacing' in the scad file)
print VESA mount with 4 shells and 50% infill @ low resolution layers (0.3mm). suggest using linear infill.
attach plate to vesa mount using screws
attach vesa mount to monitor using longer screws you've provided
mount monitor on wall

Tips:

i didn't think the monitor would be secure if the mount was thin enough to use the stock VESA screws. you'll need to get longer screws
-when your monitor is hung, the unistrut will give a little bit and the monitor will sag. you can account for this by adjusting 'bar_angle'
-when using three monitors in a cube corner, use the stock stand for the middle one and place the two side monitors on the walls
-you could weld the unistrut directly to the cubicle mounts. i didn't because i only had aluminum unistrut available.
