Summary

Here are two puzzles made of 8 pieces that can be assembled into a cube. The puzzles are based on a 3x3x3 cube composed of 27 subcubes.and have three pieces of 4 subcubes and five pieces of 3 subcubes. OpenSCAD code is included.

Notes

Puzzle 1 is an interesting one and not too difficult to solve. It has 3 "T" shaped pieces and five "corner" pieces. A companion puzzle can be constructed using the openSCAD code. It has 3 "L" pieces in place of the "T" pieces. Puzzle 3, a difficult one, is a random choice from the very large number of possible puzzles. Color coded diagrams can be generated by the openSCAD code to help with solutions.
