Summary

You know the feeling, perhaps: everything ready and in position on the tripod, battery empty.
Or: I just want to see how the last picture turned out.
In both cases I had to remove my "old" Panasonic DMC-FZ5 from the tripod and the hot shoe, disturbing the great angle/postition, before I could get to the battery or the SD-card.

Not any more. With this gadget I can get to both without disturbing anything.

It was good enough, though, to make it a very useful gadget. ;-)</p></div>

How I Designed This

Took some measurements from my old shoe etc. and puzzled it together in FreeCAD.
RepetierHost and Slic3r were so kind as to do the rest.
