FlatMinis: Warrior in mail

While he might look as a Norman knight on foot, this is actually Sigismund, fetchling paladin of Erelm Brimirsdräpe and acting ambassador of the fetchling-realm of Talheim. He's a bit poor right now, so he has settled for mail armour until proper plate can be acquired. Until then, he wields a more defensive sword-and-shield combo instead of a great weapon. Why he chooses to go without a helm is, however, beyond me. Sigismunds entourage consists of Vaughan, Nukpana and Sir Woo-Jung Mi-Rhun.

The mail didn't come out all that great (though it would probably be improved with some cleaning with a sharp knife) but I think it gets the job down. My printer has trouble printing without rafts, without one the shield would probably have been smoother.

Sometimes the spikes on Flatminis equipment print badly for me, I've found that it helps to print them separately. My model is standing on my oblong base, but the main STL includes the standard 25mm flatminis base. Both are included as separate STLs.
