Summary

Trotec lasers offer endless applications and to showcase this, we've made a tie from scratch using the Trotec Speedy 500.

Materials required:

• 2 yards x 1 yard black polyvinyl leather

• Scissors

• Tape

• Ruler

• Pen (or any item that can mark the underside of the material)

How I Designed This

            <p class="detail-title"><strong>Step 1: Design the tie</strong></p>            <div><p>You may create your own tie outline, but 'we've also included a base outline for your convenience. The red outline should be hairline thickness to cut while black fill is engrave.</p></div>                <p class="detail-title"><strong>Step 2: Cut dimensions</strong></p>            <div><p>Measure and cut out the size of the tie from the material. We set the Speedy 500 CO2 80w laser because of the large bed it offered. We set the speed to 100 and 28 power to 1000ppi for engraving.
