Summary

This is a derivative of 'decor 3d' by Poggia10. Blender and MeshMixer were used to transform the original surface into a printable manifold object. Size: 101 x 101 x 12 mm.

Instructions

There are three versions. The first one is the original surface mesh closed up to make it printable. The second one has the top surface lowered by 1mm and remeshed sides. The third one is an experiment in transplanting the art mesh into another octagonal object. Photos are of versions one and three. The original mesh has many artifacts (uneven surface, very short extrusions) that my extruder does not like. Scaling the surface down makes it worse. Scaling up improves the print quality.
