a student programmed this little browser based braille signage generator in a university course. it is free to use, and it generates vertically standing braille signage that takes a little longer to print, but are far more pleasant to touch.
the script lets you adjust a number of parameters such as size, thickness, dot size etc. at the moment, it works only on certain browsers, definitely in chrome. iôm afraid that the interface is in german language, but this shouldn't be a problem for someone with google translate...
this is probably the cheapest way to produce individual braille signs.
