Post-Printing

Acetone Vapor Bath

            <div><p>I use a glass jar with acetone, set into a rice cooker with water to warm it. This generates acetone vapor to smooth and shine the surface.</p></div>

How I Designed This

3D Design

            <div><p>I used AutoDesk Flex360 to design this. The basic sketch was circular, then I repeated it 7 times to make a flowerlike design. I selectively extruded portions of it, then used a spere to reshape the top. I added a sphere in the center, which is hollow, and has a seven-sided hole in the top. </p></div>
