Bamboo skewer building set

This is a 7-way connector (6 radial connectors and 1 through-hole) designed for use with the bamboo skewers (approx 4mm diameter, about 12" long) commonly found in grocery stores.

These were originally designed for a chaotic "crowd-sourced accretive sculpture" at the 2013 GeekSpark; part of Raleigh NC's SparkCon arts festival. However, you can also use them for building regular or sem-regular polyhedral models. The vinyl joints allow for flexibility to accomodate a wide range of angles and any number of sticks coming from each vertex, up to 6 + the hole.
