Summary

This is another derivative of 'Lion' by YahooJAPAN. My other derivative ('Lion 2') showed that the quality of the model was very good and worth another shot at printing the whole model. Meshmixer was used to fix the mesh and Blender was used to cut the model into three parts for easier printing with minimal overhangs. Size: 40 x 120 x 80 mm.

Instructions

Printed with 16 m 1.75 mm transparent green PLA in 4 hours. Layer thickness 0.2 mm, 2 shells, 3 bottom layers, 20% infill. Unfortunately the top part experienced some warping causing a slight gap between the bottom and top part. I might print a replacement top at some time (until then the model is just stuck together with double sided tape widening the gap another bit. Oh well... It's still a cool model!).

Four STL files. One with all the parts in and three files for the separate parts top, bottom and head (for reprinting failed parts... ;-)).

Best not printed in transparent filament. Even if your print does not warp the bottom layers will leave a definite clearly visible stripe. Maybe printing without bottom layers would work as long as that would still give you enough adhesion on the bed...
