Polygon Based Calculator

This calculator can be used add, subtract, multiply and divide small numbers. The calculator works by rotating 11 sided polygons to display digits [0-9 and a blank space].

Instructions

Step One: Print the file: Poloh-Calculator-Case.stl with the medium resolution setting.
Step Two: Print the file: Polygons and Bars.stl with the high resolution setting.
Step Three: Make sure the polygons are smooth to ensure that they don't get stuck when rotating by removing any residue.
Step Five: Use a black [or any other colour you like] marking pen to write down the digits on 25 polygons [numbers 0-9 and leave an empty space].

Use another colour to mark 9 polygons, 5 of these should have the numbers 0-9 and an empty space and the reaming 4 should have the addition, subtract, multiply, divide and equals symbols on them.
Step Six: Slide 6 polygons into each of the 6 bars and close the case.
Step Seven: Use the pen to rotate the polygons [if your fingertips are too big]. I found that an object with a metal tip [like a precision screwdriver] works very well in rotating the polygons,

IMPORTANT: Make sure the holes in the polygons are as perfectly circular as possible, this will ensure that the polygons stay in the desired position and don't get displaced from their position. This also applies to the bars where the polygons will be slid onto.

Optional: The calculator's size can be increased by adjusting the scale of the .stl files. One side of the polygon is 2.4mm x 5mm, increasing the scale will increase the surface area. This will allow for larger and clearer numbers.
