Summary

This is a really lame thing, but in case someone else wants spacers that fit where a 608 bearing does, here're some stl files already made.

I'm using some roller blade wheels for L3-G0, my full size Lego R2-D2 (http://L3-G0.blogspot.com, video on Youtube).Since I need the axles to turn the wheels, using bearings is a bit silly, so I printed these spacers.

Instructions

Download "O-Ring - 608 Bearing Replacement Spacer.stl" if you want an O-Ring/Spacer that's the size of a 608 bearing.

The "with spacer" version includes a 10mm spacer for inside a roller blade wheel, however it doesn't seem to be 10mm when I print it (too skinny?) I decided not to use that one as I have some aluminum 10mm spacers anyway. The idea was to have one with a spacer on one side and an o-ring without a spacer on the other side.

For my needs, I probably also need another spacer to keep the wheel away from the gears/axle holders/whatnot, but I decided it'd be easy to just print another small spacer.

And don't forget to visit L3-G0 the Lego R2-D2's blog or Youtube channel. The spacers go on the wheels intended for his motorized feet on the left & right sides....
