Summary

I converted the Ball in Vine (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:112655) into a tree ornament as a gift for a colleague.

Instructions

I used MakerWare 2.4 to prepare the file with a customized profile (**see below), a MakerBot Replicator2 and the following settings with white MakerBot PLA to do the printing:

Infill = 10%
Layer Height = 0.200
Shells = 1
Feedrate = 90
Travel Feed = 150
Temperature = 230

I used a raft with full support. It took a little over 2 hours to print at about 60 mm high. Removing the support structure wasn't too bad for this design.
