Stirplate Parts

For DIY stirplates for homebrewers. Get your maximum output from your yeast starter using this stirplate. Works with those .25" diameter neodynium magnets. It fits on a 12V computer fan.

For the stirbar, you'll need to print and pause halfway after the slot is printed, and before the printer closes it up on top. Just place a bunch of the magnets inside, then continue the print.

I was unsuccessful mostly because I couldn't get the fan to spin slowly enough for the stir bar. This, and my flask isn't very flat on the bottom. It takes the right speed and a 'sweet spot' height for the stirbar. You might need to scale the z height on the stirplate.stl file to get the right height.

I'm gonna keep working on getting a speed that isn't too fast, but right now the minimum voltage for this fan seems to high to get a reasonable speed out of it.
