Summary

A nicely weighted spinner with knurled edge. This one is in color changing PLA which is some fun material. Caps not included, but recommended. There are plenty out there to choose from, pick your favorites and have fun. The white one is the same file without top and bottom layers, no infill and 5 perimeters.

Uses 608 skate bearings. The center bearing has the seals removed and no lube applied. I find even thin lubes reduce the spin time. I tried to size the bearing holes so minimal fitting is required, but I included a test object, since printer calibrations can vary. Print it out first to check the bearing fit and if it is too tight or too loose you can scale in up or down by  a small percentage. If you tweak the scaling for the test file, use same scale on the real file and it should fit the same way. On my printer I only had to scrape the insides of the holes with a pocket knife and to get a good snug press fit. This puppy spins nice and true and a long time with the weight of the 4 outside bearings.<br>Note: For some reason there are some phantom perimeter lines on the bottom layer. I don't know what is causing that, I'm sure its something funky with the model, but not yet figure out what.. I tried to use bottom clip to ditch them but they persist. It still prints ok, but you may have to shave a feather edge off the bottom layer perimeter if you don't use use a top-bottom layer (the white skeleton version).</p></div>
