Razor Blade Scraper With Cover And 5mm Mounting Hole

The old scraper for my fish tank broke leaving me with a 5mm stick and no scrapper in the end. I took jsc's Razor blade scraper with cover and modified it with a 5mm diameter hole so that an extended handle could be fitted. This first version seems to have an issue where the top of the mount did not print, it still gripped the pole OK though.

Be careful when using this tool once you have fitted the standard razor blade.

If like me you plan to use this tool in a marine or tropical fish tank I suggest you thoroughly wash, rinse and give it a short soak outside the tank first. No one wants something toxic leaking from the print material into the water. Consider what you use to print it if you are going to use it around a fish tank.

I have printed this in PLA, which is probably not as good an idea as ABS as it might start to biodegrade. I do not plan on having it in the tank for more than 5 minutes though and I will thoroughly dry it between uses.

This is marked as a work in progress as I would like to fix the missing part in the handle. The part works as is for me though.
