Summary

This was more a test to learn how to create 3/8 threads into an object. This Hotshoe base is nice to have in every strobist bag. The 3/8 unc thread is little bit tight but I don't know if the space between the slopes are to small or support material will cause this tighness. I used a 3/8 screw tap to make the thread smooth. But I think it will work also fine if you screw in a 3/8 screw into the thread one or two times.
