Filament Tube Base for MakerBot Replicator 2 and 2X

One drawback of the filament feeding tubes on the MakerBot Replicator printers is the bracket integral to the frame of the printer, meant to hold the tube at its base, while the other end, plugged into the extruder, moves about above. This 2mm thick piece of metal slowly tears away at the tubing, until the tubing tends to come loose at the top of the bracket. This Base allows the tubes to be held firmly, while easily, and firmly attaching to the existing bracket. This can be used with the OEM filament holders, or with customer-provided other means of delivering the filament.

I believe this Thing will work with both the MakerBot Replicator 2 and 2X, but I do not have a Rep 2 to know this for sure.
