Summary

This is a simple standoff for mounting a 60mm light ring on your Prusa i2 X carriage. If your carriage has the typical set of 3 mounting holes for the extruder, you can print 2 of these standoffs to secure the light ring to the carriage.

Instructions

For best printing, turn on support in your slicer.

Print two of these standoffs and press them into your X carriage. You may need to trim or sand the tips to ensure they fit. It is best if they fit tightly. A 60mm light ring will slip into place and stays put even during rapid movement.

If the fit is tight you do not have to cement them in place however it is best to do so if you want to mount the light ring permanently.

The default height is 20mm but you can change the height and regenerate a .stl file from the OpenSCAD file.
