Summary

My child has a nut allergy, but finding a comfortable allergy bracelet that can be worn at play and fit well has been impossible. So I designed and printed the bracelet shown to match her wrist size in TPU with inset PLA letters. As she grows I'll update the dimensions and post the updated file.

I guess you could print the two files individually and then insert the letters into the recesses, but I suspect that would not work well, and you would have to glue them in.  I used TPU for the bracelet and PLA for the letters.  The STL file origins are the same, so alignment should be straightforward.  You could probably use a thicker layer height, but the legibility of the letters will be impacted.</p></div>

Post-Printing

Cleanup

            <div><p>The file has a "foot" built in that acts as a raft.  The purpose was to prevent the ooze that generally happens in the early layers as the PLA nozzle was heating up.  This results in a cleaner print overall, but requires cutting off the "foot" after printing.  I used a sharp knife for the purpose.</p></div>
